“ The food is good. And they must use gloves because I found a piece of one in one of the brownies once. At least I thought it was a glove. one of the women working there is definitely "gruff" but if you're polite to her anyway she will acknowledge that with a half smile or slightly less abrasive comment before hanging up. Really brightens your day. we like it though. ”
“ There is a nasty older woman who works there. I have tried multiple times to be friendly with her. She is always rude to customers. My husband went in today for some roast beef. When he asked if it was rare she said “yup” and proceeded to slice it. When she finished she tossed it on the counter. When we went to use it tonight, we found some beautifully rare roast beef on the top. Underneath that, was over cooked, extremely fatty unbearable meat. We go there often, as it is the only game in town. The service is always terrible if she is working. Everyone else is very nice. I don’t understand why they keep her. The food is usually pretty good. They do make mistakes, we have gotten the wrong order on occasion, but the soups are great and one meal is really enough for two people. I am updating my review. We had a pizza last week that was amazing and tonight we had two specials that were fantastic! Enough for a lunch tomorrow and soups and desserts for another day. It seems the older woman who I complained about is not there anymore and things have been great. The food is really good again and there haven’t been any mistakes in our orders.! ”
“ This is the BEST local deli / restaurant I have ever lived by. The Food is always very good and they give you a great portion! The price is extremely fair (especially for the portion). They have a HUGE Menu, and have DAILY SPECIALS at a great price. They are all very HARD WORKING and I love interacting with them. I truly don't understand why there are any negative reviews. I have been coming to this place for 7 years, at least 2-3 times a week, EVERY WEEK, and can only remember ONE SINGLE TIME they forgot to throw a ranch in the bag. These guys are EFFICIENT. THEY ALWAYS get my order right and have no problem customizing something for me. OUTSTANDING. 5 BILLION STARS! I love coming to this small town spot and will continue doing so so long as I live in this area and they remain open! ”
“ Best food and staff. I called at 5 40 as I didn't know they closed at 6pm on Sundays. I said nevermind, close up and we'll order another day. The person on the phone said nope I'll wait for you guys and still took our order and the food was AMAZING (as usual since we order there often). 100 stars ”
“ I went in this morning for a couple of breakfast sandwiches for the hubs and I and the older lady that works the front almost made me take my business elsewhere. As a (very hungry and pregnant) local that goes here often, I know the quality of their food and decided to remain. After I placed my order and got nothing but a nasty attitude from this woman, two very kind gentleman came in and got the same treatment from her. They both turned to me and commented about how mean she was to them. I told them that the food would make up for it, that she’s unfortunately that nasty to everyone whenever she’s working and that any other member of staff that you interact with are extremely sweet and pleasant. With that being said, I hope her lack of customer service doesn’t sour anyone from this delicious spot. ”
